The five steps
- You submit the form. Name, email, company, phone and headcount. That's it.
- A data advisor qualifies you. Your advisor reviews your company and gives you curated advice on what you can license, what to exclude and what to prepare.
- Your advisor schedules a call with a qualified buyer. The buyer is chosen for your unique scenario: industry, data types and size. On the call you agree on scope, privacy rules and exclusions.
- You sign with the buyer.
- You get paid.
The process is typically 20 to 60 days from discovery to payment received. Each buyer's paperwork differs slightly.
What you agree on before anything is shared
- The approved data scope and clear boundaries
- Security and confidentiality standards
- Anonymization and redaction requirements
- Your internal approval process and permissions
How to prepare
Have a rough inventory ready: which systems you use, how many years of history each has, and which documents are written down. Our preparation checklist walks through it.
Where DataPaid fits
We're an independent data licensing partner. A data advisor qualifies you, gives you curated advice, and schedules your call with a qualified buyer from our network. We don't take custody of your data or sign agreements on your behalf. When a deal closes, the buyer may pay us a fee. It costs you nothing.
